First time to visit resort...

I am hoping to "come out of the closet" and visit my first nudist resort this winter. I am thinking of Turtle Lake in Michigan, as it is close and has, from what I see on their web site, a nice indoor facility. Being a bit bashful about going nude, I thought it might be easier during the off season. I'd like to try to get my girlfriend to come along and try it out. Has anyone gone to Turtle Lake, winter or summer, and what was it like...likes and dislikes? Also, what are some hints for a first time visitor nudist wanabee? My hesitation, besides being shy, is being insecure about my body...a work in progress! Hope to hear from those "old" and new to nudism. Hope to start making some new naked friends!
